Dear Brother Knights,
Sir Knights, & M ’Ladies:
As Grand Knight, I would like to wish you and your Family a Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for all you do as a Knight for our parish and community. Thanksgiving as you well know is a day to be thankful for our Lords blessings.
We are often reminded to be thankful without a real explanation of its purpose and experience. When we are in spirit with the Lord it is a state of mind and experience.
Being thankful in his name can create happy thoughts and start your day on a positive note. Happy thoughts and sad thoughts cannot exist in the mind at the same time. So every morning, if you haven’t already, try this; start by thanking the Lord for some of things you have then notice the wonderful day the Lord blesses you with.
Oh, I wanted to mention we now have close to 3 new Knights in our council. Have you noticed someone you would like to invite to become a Knight lately?
“Why am I pushing for this?” I’ll name a few: We need more Knights so we could do more with less and have more fun while we are at it.
We need to grow and it is another way to expand on our faith by sharing the experience of what being a Catholic and a Knight is supposed to be about.
I am so grateful and proud to be a Knight.
Our Goal is to keep in touch and communicate with a more interactive website. For example we have an Events Calendar to your left and will be posting an archive of our Newsletters for reference.
If you have an updated email that we may not have, not too fill you with emails; but just to inform you of important issues and to stay in touch. Email it to kofc6212@yahoo.com.
Vivat Jesus,
Jim Macaluso
Grand Knight
